For me, it was one of the hardest years of my life, tackling my mom’s dementia.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;A year after my father passed from cancer, I saw initial signs of dementia in my mom, but it was still a journey to fully accept it before I was able to start fighting to get her help.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
